Mahmoud Halat

Mahmoud co-founded XY Space, where he designs and ships the AI systems clients run in production. He was employee two at Verto Health and stayed through to a team of eighty, working on the platform behind roughly a quarter of Canada's daily COVID vaccinations at peak.

He holds a Master of Health Informatics and a patent in data ingestion and harmonization, the problem underneath most of what XY Space builds: getting data out of systems that were never meant to talk to each other, without guessing. He guest lectures at the University of Toronto and won the $100k Lovable Shipped 2025 grand prize against 5,800 builders.
