Mahmoud Halat

Mahmoud designs and ships the AI systems clients run in production at XY Space. He was employee two at Verto Health and stayed through to a team of 80, shipping 100+ hospital deployments and 10M+ patient journeys, including the platform behind roughly a quarter of Canada's daily COVID vaccinations at peak.

He holds a Master of Health Informatics and is a co-author of a 2025 patent on dynamic clustering for patient journey reconstruction. That is the problem underneath most of what XY Space builds: getting data out of systems that were never meant to talk to each other, without guessing. He won the $100k Lovable Shipped 2025 grand prize against 5,800 builders.
